How to Clearly Define Your Target Market For Your Network Marketing Business

How to Clearly Define Your Target Market For Your Network Marketing Business

In building your Network Marketing business, it is critical to know exactly who your target

market is. Clearly defining your target market with upfront research should always be your

first step in planning for your Network Marketing business.

These are several key questions to ask yourself when doing your research.

Here’s a short list that should get you going:

* What is the demographic of your customers? e.g. income level, gender, education, age, marital

status * Do they have a specific location? e.g. country, state, city, county * What do they

want? * What are their key problems? * What do they currently buy?

Once you clearly define who your potential customers are, you can begin to set up your

marketing strategies around them. But until you do, you should not even consider starting your

Network Marketing business (or any kind of business).

People so often come up with their product which, in their eyes, are superior in quality, and

then start looking for customers who can benefit from the use of this product. When people take

this approach, they are at the risk of investing a lot upfront to come up with the products to

sell while not really knowing whether they will sell.

While searching for the customers, they will need to store their inventories so that they can

ship the products quickly as soon as they find the customers. This causes them to incur

unnecessary expenses for storage and possibly lose their initial investment if they can’t find

the customers to buy them.

If you can first spot a group of people who has a specific want, need, or problem they want a

solution for, and then come up with the exact things they are looking for, it makes things so

much easier with much less risk.

Here are a few examples:

* Starbucks ==> coffee drinkers * Borders ==> book lovers * Eye doctors ==> people with poor

vision

Each of the above has a specific group of people who has specific wants, needs and problems

they want a solution for. It wouldn’t have been wise for Starbucks to come up with the best

tasting coffee without knowing whether there’s enough people who can and will spend $3 bucks

for a cup of joe.

Now, when it comes to target markets for your Network Marketing best

home businesses from home, there are several possible categories depending on your

approach. Here’s a list of possible target markets:

* People who have purchased a network marketing best home business

to start before (or who are already in network marketing, who are currently spending money

on pursuing a home based network marketing business), who already recognize their need for a

network marketing business.

* People who are presently researching your Network Marketing company and seeking the best

sponsor, team and upline on Google, Yahoo, MSN or even offline talking to people. These people

have heard of the Network Marketing company, products, marketing system, and/or best home

business to start, and are doing their “homework” to validate the information about the

company, products, marketing system, and/or best home business to start and the best team to

join.

* People interested in finding a way to make money, but who aren’t specifically aware that they

need a Network Marketing business (yet). These people are looking in your direction with

obvious interests, but are still in the “tire-kicking” stage. Until they actually spend money

by starting a home based business, or invest money in learning resources (books, CDs, DVDs,

seminars), they are just looking.

* People who already buy or use a related product or service of your Network Marketing company.

* People with a PROBLEM who are looking for a SOLUTION (e.g. PROBLEM = poor health; SOLUTION =

high quality dietary supplements)

* People looking on the web for your specific product by name. These people are the hottest

product leads.

Once you grasp which target market you want to attract to you, you simply need to start giving

away valuable content that they are looking for through various point-of-contacts e.g. social

networking sites, social bookmarking sites, etc.

Remember, you don’t want to chase after your target market. You want to always ATTRACT them to

YOU. Give to get. Give without want. And you’ll soon be attracting them to YOU and your Network

Marketing business.

Influence of hand cycling on physical capacity in the rehabilitation of persons with a spinal cord injury: a longitudinal cohort study

Filed under: News, other — Admin @ 11:26 pm

Influence of hand cycling on physical capacity in the rehabilitation of persons with a spinal cord injury: a longitudinal cohort study

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the influence of handicap scooters on outcome measures of physical capacity during and after rehabilitation in persons with paraplegia and tetraplegia in The Netherlands. DESIGN: A longitudinal cohort study with measurement moments at the start (t1) and end (t2) of clinical rehabilitation and 1 year after discharge (t3). Hand cycle use was assessed by means of questionnaires at t2 and t3. SETTING: Eight rehabilitation centers in The Netherlands. PARTICIPANTS: Subjects (N=162) with a recent spinal cord injury. INTERVENTIONS: All subjects followed the regular rehabilitation program. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Peak oxygen uptake (Vo(2)peak) and peak power output (POpeak) determined in a handrim medical scooters peak exercise test, peak muscle strength of the upper extremities, and pulmonary function. RESULTS: A significantly larger increment in Vo(2)peak, POpeak, and elbow extension strength was found in subjects with paraplegia during clinical rehabilitation. No such effect was found in subjects with tetraplegia. In the postrehabilitation period, no influence of hand cycling on any outcome measure was found in subjects with paraplegia or subjects with tetraplegia. CONCLUSIONS: After correction for baseline values and confounders, regular hand cycling (once a week or more) appeared to be beneficial for improving aerobic physical capacity in persons with paraplegia during clinical rehabilitation. The small and heterogeneous study groups may have hampered the finding of positive results of hand cycling in persons with tetraplegia.

Perceptions of power mobility use and safety within residential facilities.

Filed under: News, other — Admin @ 11:55 am

Perceptions of power mobility use and safety within residential facilities.

BACKGROUND: medicare power wheelchairs enhance quality of life by enabling occupation, improving self-esteem and facilitating social interaction. Despite these benefits, the risks associated with power mobility use raise serious concerns in residential facilities. PURPOSE: As there is no gold standard to assess when a client is unsafe, a two-phase study was conducted to develop client-centred guidelines for handicap scooters use. METHOD: In the first phase of the study, presented here, 18 in-depth, qualitative interviews were conducted with a variety of stakeholders, including power mobility users, other residents, staff and family members. RESULTS: A thematic analysis of the interviews revealed four main themes: 1) the meaning of power mobility, 2) learning the rules of the road, 3) red flags: concerns about safety, and 4) solutions. PRACTICE IMPLICATIONS: Given the importance of power mobility, safety measures need to address issues of mobility and safety for power mobility drivers and those around them.

Interest Charges

Filed under: Money, other — Admin @ 12:40 pm

Interest Charges

However, you must also consider that a building business credit card company also charges interest. The longer you take to pay off a balance the more interest you build up. In this way paying the minimum on your business line of credit card is actually a bad idea as it is a never-ending process. Once you’ve paid off one amount you have to start paying off another month’s debt.

The biomechanics of wheelchair propulsion in individuals with and without upper-limb impairment.

Filed under: News, other — Admin @ 1:31 pm

The biomechanics of wheelchair propulsion in individuals with and without upper-limb impairment.

We used an instrumented medicare power wheelchairs ergometer and 3D motion analysis system to collect joint kinematic and temporal data, as well as hand rim and joint kinetics, in 47 manual power wheelchairs users (MWCUs) (15 with upper-limb impairment and 32 without upper-limb impairment). The group with upper-limb impairment propelled with a higher stroke frequency and reduced hand-rim contact time, and smaller peak joint angles and joint excursion of the wrist, elbow, and shoulder during the contact phase. They also propelled with a reduced power output and reduced hand-rim propulsive and resultant forces, moments, and joint compressive forces. We concluded that these kinematic and kinetic strategies might be a mechanism for allowing MWCUs with upper-limb impairment to remain independent. Additionally, the reduced joint excursion and reduced magnitude of forces may protect them from the development of secondary upper-limb pathologies.

How I saw the world

How I saw the world

I was working a regular nine to five job and barely making ends meet just a year ago. I knew that I wanted to break free of the treadmill I was on but I just didn’t know how. Finally I met a person who changed my life and allowed all of my dreams to come true.
I was working a regular nine to five job and barely making ends meet just a couple of years ago. I desperately wanted to get off of the daily treadmill I was on but I just didn’t know how. Finally I met a person who changed my life and allowed all of my dreams to come true.
I was playing around on the internet looking for nothing in particular when I saw an ad for Global Resorts Network. It sounded interesting so I looked into it further. What I found was not only a resort network that gives great discounts on travel but it is also home business opportunity. The startup cost was over $2000 which was a real sacrifice for me. Fortunately I was able to come up with the money and I am so glad I did.
Now I go on week long trips every few months. I have experienced so much that I thought I would miss out on due to the high cost of travel and my limited income. I have surfed in Hawaii, gone skiing in Colorado, and spent evenings under the desert sky in Arizona.
If you want to make money online with your own internet home business opportunity and you love to travel this could be the business opportunity for you as well. I get great discounts on travel and I make enough money to be able to take advantage of them. That means that I travel all the time.
I don’t want to mislead you into thinking that this travel business opportunity is so easy that I no longer need to work. This is network marketing so it requires daily attention. I have set my home business up online which allows me to generate qualified leads that I can then turn into sales. Both generating the leads and making the sale are hard work. But like all hard work I see a reward in the end.
The Global resorts network is 50 years old and has creating business opportunities for thousands of sales people. If you want a home based business, you love to travel and you are great at sales this is a winning opportunity for you. I think you will be surprised at the amount of money you can make.

My Dead Beat Multilevel Marketing Sponsor

Filed under: Join, Money, News, other — Admin @ 12:40 am

My Dead Beat Multilevel Marketing Sponsor

Someone introduces you to a product or service that you enjoy or that benefits you in some way. Then, you join that Multilevel Marketing business opportunity “under” that person. By “under” we mean you are sponsored by that person and for the purposes of commission tracking, you reside on the “first level” or “first generation” of their downline genealogy.
In the language of the industry, they are your sponsor.
This scenario is repeated everyday in an income arena that attracts everyday people by the thousands. The tidal wave that is Multilevel Marketing surges with new recruits eager to create mind-boggling incomes. They join, they purchase and they get excited.
And then we hear:
The person who sponsored me never calls. He promised a great opportunity then disappeared. What a dead beat!
Or, after getting me to join, she moved on to the next prospect. Aren’t I just as important?
Why did they desert me? I have a huge upline support team with awesome tools and resources. But, my business is stagnant because I’m waiting for some help.
A Wake Up Call for Multilevel Marketing Wannabes: Here’s where we jar most home business rookies with a big dose of reality.
The fact is that your sponsor is NOT there to do it all for you. As a Networker, you are an independent business entity. You will never be successful until you learn to BE successful on your own.
But, to soften that hardcore position, understand that your sponsor or Upline Team SHOULD be available to assist you and provide tools, training and resources - but they should NOT be building your business for you.
Nor should they be promising such nonsense in any of their promotions.
What Are They Obligated to Do? As your sponsor, they have an obligation to support you, encourage you and even to train you. Their #1 goal should be to assist you into the first stages of success. If they don’t, it’s their mistake. Your pitfall is allowing that mistake to stop you from succeeding anyhow!
Experienced and successful Multilevel Marketers know the value of helping you to reach profit. They know the power of getting you to what we call “The Point of No Return.” They grasp the importance of having team members like you in the “making good money” column.
They also know that if they GET you there without teaching you to be self sufficient, THEIR business won’t grow and yours will stop the moment they release the reins.
The Multilevel Marketing Fishing Pole: Do you recall that old saying that if you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day - but if you teach a man to fish, you feed him forever?
That is why you must learn to work your Multilevel Marketing business. It’s okay to be slow at first. Maybe you have questions - maybe you don’t know everything. No one does when they first start. But, that doesn’t justify expecting your sponsor to make you rich.
Pointing Fingers Again? When you’re feeling discouraged or frustrated with your home business growth, or lack of it, what do you do? Do you blame it on the company? What about the pay plan?
Ever think the product must not work because the last 3 people you shared it with didn’t have dramatic results?
Have you mentally or verbally accused your sponsor of being unhelpful? Do you wish you had a different upline team?
So, let’s say you are part of a legitimate Multilevel Marketing opportunity with a great product backed by a solid company - lots of satisfied members - sales climbing everyday - people across the country excited about their results. But, YOUR results have been less than expected. What’s the problem? Who’s to blame?
Perhaps your expectations were not very realistic in the first place. Maybe the time spent waiting for help should have been spent - doing something.
Doing something - anything - even if you’re not good at it (yet) is better than doing nothing.
We used to refer to this as “making a big mess and cleaning it up later.” Get your material out there. Talk to people. Advertise. Give away samples. Do something. Worry about getting good at it as you go along.
Who Determines My Success? You do. Period.
Upline teams and sponsors can be contributing factors to your Multilevel Marketing success. Having someone who is very involved in your daily activities is a real plus, not a necessity. Company tools and resources offer tremendous advantages to your business growth - if you use them.
If your dream is to sit back and let someone else make you rich, buy a lottery ticket.
Shouldn’t They Call Me Once in a While? I’m sure that would be nice. We’ve always told our members to develop a pattern of time management based on the “work with the workers” theory. Be available to everyone who needs help, but concentrate on those who are making an effort.
If your sponsor is really as good as you think he/she is, they are probably quite busy. Their time is divided between many team members. They’re working with the workers, taking calls and answering questions.
So? When was the last time you called THEM?
In fact, when is the last time you dialed into a live conference call? Have you attended a live event or training? Have you reviewed each link on the company website or back office? There’s usually an FAQ section.
Do you have the phone number for your sponsor’s sponsor? Called them lately?
The point is that it’s YOUR home business. Don’t point fingers or make excuses. Get excited, make a commitment and get busy.

Distribution and cost of wheelchairs and scooters provided by Veterans Health Administration

Filed under: News, other — Admin @ 3:50 pm

Distribution and cost of wheelchairs and scooters provided by Veterans Health Administration

During fiscal years 2000 and 2001, the Veterans Health Administration provided veterans with more than 131,000 medicare power wheelchairs and handicap scooters at a cost of $109 million. This national study is the first to investigate Veterans Health Administration costs in providing wheelchairs and scooters and to compare regional prescription patterns. With a retrospective design, we used descriptive methods to analyze fiscal years 2000 and 2001 National Prosthetics Patient Database data (cleaned data set of 113,724 records). Wheelchairs were categorized by function, weight, and adjustability options for meeting individual needs (e.g., axle position, camber, position of wheels, tilt, and recline options). Results displayed a cost distribution that was negatively skewed by low-cost accessories coded as wheelchairs. Of the standard manual wheelchairs, 3.5% could be considered beyond the customary cost. Regionally, 71% to 86% of all wheelchairs provided were manual wheelchairs, 5% to 11% were power wheelchairs, and 5% to 20% were scooters. The considerable variation found in the types of wheelchairs and scooters provided across Veterans Integrated Service Networks may indicate a need for evidence-based prescription guidelines and clinician training in wheeled-mobility technologies

Pressure, Are You Applying Enough to Attain Your Financial Freedom

Filed under: Money, News, other — Admin @ 10:00 am

Pressure, Are You Applying Enough to Attain Your Financial Freedom

One of the things that I have discovered in my journey of personal development is that I must make the choice to step into success or I will just stand in failure. I find that it is necessary to apply pressure to myself in order to move forward and take those steps into success. Do you apply pressure to yourself? Let me ask you a question: do you wait until the last minute to finish a task, project or chore? Are you one of those people who accomplish 70% of the project in the last 10% of the time?’

If you said yes to either of those questions then you are applying pressure to yourself. Some of us work better by doing little bits and pieces of the project, task or chore as we go. Others work much better when they are under the gun. When they know they ‘gotta get it done’, ‘it’s due tomorrow’, ‘it’s due in two hours’.. Some people are much better when they are applying that pressure to themselves.

We need to be able to recognize where we fall on that scale and realize how best we react because if we don’t apply any pressure at all to ourselves then we are we are not going to learn, grow and step up into the success that we want in our lives. We all want success in our lives, whether it is emotionally, in relationships, with our family, in our home business, or with our finances. We all want some form of success in our life, if not in ALL of these areas!

Many times, we human beings waste time feeling guilty. By doing this we are wasting our own time and energy. When we get to the point of the deadline for that project, task or chore and we’re feeling so guilty - ‘oh why didn’t I do something sooner? I should have spent more time! Why did I spend my time on that thing and not get this project started?’ As human beings need to learn that it is okay and to recognize that’s how we cope best, we work best under pressure. So stop feeling guilty about it! Stop beating yourself up, because when we stop beating ourselves up and wasting energy on the guilt, we have more time and more energy to invest in the project, chore or task we want to complete.

The other thing that we do, in order to not apply the pressure, is we hide behind our responsibilities. I used to do this so well - hide behind my responsibilities. Many times when I have talked to people about a home based business opportunity, they say ‘oh, well I don’t have the time to do something like that. I am so busy! I have my family. I have my job. I have my charities. I have my hobbies.’ We all have those different responsibilities in our life. But what we need to decide is ‘Is this project/task/business something that I really want to do or rather is this task/business/project going to create a result that I want. You have to begin by deciding what result you want in your life and then arrange your time based on achieving those results. Ask yourself : ‘Are there things I could rearrange or even drop all together to make time to do this?’

Are you applying the pressure to your own life to do what it is you really want to do? Sometimes those tasks or chores are not really things that we want to do, but we want that specific end result so we do them. We want our relationships to work well. We want our financial freedom. We want to be able to take our family to Disneyland. We want that specific end result, the successful life. Today I just assisted my husband in setting up his financial filing system, I sure did not want to spend time doing it, however I want the end result!! The end result of the nice clean, tidy organized paperwork resulting in his taxes being completed on time. I put the pressure on myself, assisted him and now I am very glad I did. Not only did the paperwork issue get better but so did our relationship because my husband felt much supported.

We need to focus on the results we want instead of hiding behind the excuses of ‘I don’t have the time,I’ve got to go to work, I’ve got to take my daughter to soccer. I have got to take my dog to the vet’. Yes, those are all things that need to be done. However when we decide that achieving a certain task/chore/business is a priority that we could rearrange our time or give up some unnecessary activities to free up time if we really wanted to. If we really want that result, we could get it done, it just takes a decision. We will then stop investing in the guilt. we will stop hiding behind the responsibilities and figure out a way to make it happen.

There is a universal law, like the law of gravity called the Law of Growth;. In order to exist, we need to grow. How we grow is our choice. What seeds do we want to plant? Do we want to plant the seeds of not getting something done? Or do we want the seeds of success habits, applying the pressure and stepping into the successful life that we know we deserve. We all deserve a successful life! Ask yourself “am I applying the correct pressure on myself to create my successful life?” I hope you are!
